Trash Humpers

I went to the premiere of this film and in the Q&A someone in a hat asked Harmony Korine 'what does your film mean?' and he replied 'what does your stupid hat mean?' After two years of reflection I think they were both right.

Dogtooth

The weirdest, funniest, scariest film I've seen in recent memory. It's really beautiful in a very dirty way. Bruuuuuuuuuuce!!

Gonzo

A documentary about the eccentric author Hunter S. Thompson. The same movie as Buy The Ticket Take The Ride but a bit worse; watch them together and wonder what the fuck was going through 20 peoples' minds when they did the exact same interview twice.

Towelhead

I haven't seen anything great in a while so I figured I'd post some garbage... Towelhead is awful. It's like a diverse, poorly-lit Juno. I kept waiting for it to get so bad it became funny, but instead it just ended with me wanting gin and a shower.

Tokyo!

I'm always biased towards movies that take place in Japan and tryptich films, so I liked it more than like. One story is fun, one is scary, and one is confusing, I'm not sure which is which.
